The NFI is an international center of knowledge and expertise in forensic research. The institute brings together nearly forty different forensic disciplines under one roof and conducts a wide range of investigations, including DNA analysis, forensic autopsies, fiber examinations, and the extraction, reading, and decryption of digital information from suspects’ phones. Through its research, knowledge transfer, and innovation, the NFI contributes to criminal investigations and the pursuit of truth in both national and international contexts.
