The Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI) is an international center of knowledge and expertise in forensic science. The institute brings together nearly forty different forensic disciplines under one roof and conducts a wide range of investigations — including DNA analysis, forensic autopsies, fiber examinations, and the extraction, reading, and decryption of digital data from suspects’ mobile phones.

Through its forensic examinations, the transfer of knowledge, and continuous innovation, the NFI contributes to criminal investigations and the pursuit of truth, both nationally and internationally. All of this is done on the basis of the latest scientific insights.
